Responsibilities
The foreman will manage and supervise the workshop while actively participating in equipment maintenance work. The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating the daily tasks of technicians (workshop and field);
- Supervise repairs, dealer warranties, and review purchase orders;
- Evaluate, diagnose, and repair equipment or machinery in the workshop;
- Perform maintenance on new and used equipment for sale, resale, or demonstrations;
- Ensure the training and development of staff;
- Comply with occupational health and safety standards and policies;
- Optimize technicians’ schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime;
- Establish and monitor time and performance goals for technicians.
Profile
- Experience in a management position;
- Diploma in construction equipment mechanics, heavy vehicle mechanics, or any other related field;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Computer skills; Fosters team cohesion and engagement;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
